At first glance, some of the other lines might look faster because they appear to take a shorter route. But in racing, the shortest path isn’t always the quickest. The blue line uses more of the track, creating the widest possible turning radius and making the corner less sharp. 🏁

That wider radius allows the driver to carry more speed through the turn while maintaining better control and grip. Instead of making one aggressive steering movement, the car flows through the corner more smoothly, keeping valuable momentum. And that makes a huge difference when every fraction of a second counts. ⚡

The biggest advantage comes on the exit. By reaching the outside of the track and straightening the steering earlier, the driver can get back on the throttle sooner and accelerate harder down the next straight. The red line turns in too early, while the green and yellow lines sacrifice momentum with tighter or less efficient angles.
