The story begins with an ordinary grocery trip, where the narrator buys familiar items, including a package of sausages. That evening, they cook and eat some without noticing anything unusual. The remaining sausages are stored in the refrigerator for breakfast the next day.
In the morning, while preparing food, the narrator tries to cut one of the sausages but encounters unexpected resistance. Assuming it is frozen, they try again, only to feel a solid obstruction inside. Upon closer inspection, they notice a faint metallic glint beneath the surface.
Carefully cutting into it, they uncover a small USB flash drive embedded in the center. Shock quickly turns into unease, especially after realizing they had already eaten from the same package. After hesitation, curiosity takes over, and they clean the device and connect it to a computer.
The drive contains a single image of a man staring directly at the camera with an unsettling expression. Unable to explain how the object ended up inside the food, the narrator is left disturbed and uncertain. What lingers most is not the object itself, but the lasting sense of unease and loss of trust in something once considered ordinary.
