World’s Strongest Woman Winner Gets Stripped

Months after losing the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman title, athlete Jammie Booker says she is still searching for clarity about why the championship was taken away. Booker initially captured the title during the Official Strongman Games World Championship in Texas, but within days, organizers removed her title after learning she was born male. The revelation surfaced when other competitors reportedly received explicit images from Booker’s past career in adult entertainment. The decision ignited a fierce debate about transparency and eligibility rules in women’s competitions.

Booker has since questioned the ruling on social media, asking critics and sports organizations to identify the specific rule she allegedly violated. She noted that major governing bodies like Strongman Corp., the IFBB, the IOC, and others all have rules related to transgender athletes. However, event officials said competition rules require athletes to participate in divisions corresponding to their biological sex at birth. Officials stated that if they had known about Booker’s status beforehand, she would not have been allowed to compete in the women’s division.

Andrea Thompson, who originally finished second, was elevated to champion after Booker’s title was revoked. Three-time champion Rebecca Roberts argued that transparency is essential to maintaining fairness, stating that transgender women should not compete in women’s divisions when other athletes have no knowledge of their biological sex. Fellow competitor Jade Dickens expressed frustration, saying she would have taken action if she had known earlier.

The controversy has added fuel to a growing national conversation about fairness, eligibility rules, and transparency in women’s sports. Booker continues to push for a clear explanation from organizers. Meanwhile, reports revealed that Booker previously appeared in explicit adult films under a stage name and was nominated for awards at the Trans Erotica Awards. The dispute remains unresolved, highlighting deep divisions within the strength sports community.
