‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Stuns Fans After Solving Tough $77,000 Puzzle

A recent episode of Wheel of Fortune gave viewers an emotional moment after contestant Linda Keyes pulled off an impressive bonus round win worth over $77,000. Instead of celebrating only the prizes, she dedicated the special moment to her late mother, who had always loved watching the show.

The episode was filmed shortly after her mother passed away. According to reports, her mom rarely missed an episode and had always hoped to see Linda compete one day. During the bonus round, Linda selected the “What Are You Doing?” category and made strong letter choices that revealed most of the puzzle.

With only seconds left on the clock, the board showed: “OR _NG _RO_ND THE _ _RD.” After a brief pause, Keyes correctly solved it with the answer, “Working around the yard!” Host Ryan Seacrest then revealed she had won an additional $40,000 along with a luxury vacation to England and Scotland.

Linda later shared that appearing on Wheel of Fortune had been a dream for both her and her mother. After failed auditions and long periods without hearing back, she finally got the call just two weeks before filming. Her unforgettable victory became more than just a game-show success — it turned into a heartfelt tribute she believes would have made her mom incredibly proud.
