We don\u2019t share finance because that\u2019s what he wants. I got a raise on my salary. Now I earn 30% more than he does and I noticed that he\u2019s been using this to ask me to pay for him and his friends. Whenever I say \u201cno\u201d or \u201cwhy should I pay for this?\u201d he\u2019d respond with \u201cthe 30% that\u2019s why.\u201d He acts as if the 30% is unfair or that I\u2019m not deserving of it,\u201d the woman started her post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s most, he tricked her to spend money on him and his friends before, and she was now determined to not let that happen again. \u201cSeveral times he has tricked me to pay for his and his friend\u2019s meals by asking me publicly. Let me say that I\u2019m too nice to say \u2018no,\u2019 I hate confrontation especially when we\u2019re at a public place like a restaurant so I just grin and pay. Last Tuesday, he asked me to join him and his buddies for dinner. I told him from the start I wasn\u2019t paying for their food and he shouldn\u2019t expect me to. He said he \u2018got this\u2019 and \u2018no worries.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in the middle of their meal, he whispered to her that she should cover the bill for the night. \u201cWe got to the restaurant. Met his friends, ordered food. And in the middle of the meal he leaned in and whispered that I would be paying for everything he and his friends ordered. I got so mad I whispered back \u201cnoooo\u201d but he probably relied on me not causing a scene in public and in front of his friends.
