Garth Brooks’ New “Friends in Low Places” Bar Struggles: “I May Close It”

Garth Brooks faced challenges with the opening of his new Nashville bar, “Friends in Low Places,” which experienced construction delays due to investor issues, pushing the opening date back by several months.

Despite Brooks personally performing on opening night, attendance was reportedly low, leading to disappointment for the country star. Since then, Brooks has not visited the bar in person, which has not helped improve its attendance.

Club Manager Joe Barron expressed regret over leaving Kid Rock’s establishment to work at Brooks’ bar, citing the poor turnout. Brooks himself has hinted at the possibility of closing the bar and exploring other opportunities, possibly in Hollywood.

However, there is some skepticism about the reported low attendance, as access to the bar for verification was reportedly hindered by a live event at the nearby Johnny Cash Museum.

While the exact details remain unclear, the situation highlights the challenges faced by businesses in the entertainment industry and the unpredictable nature of success in the competitive Nashville scene.
