At the West Virginia school where Frances Buzzard works as a janitor, she is adored and held in the highest esteem by both the students and the staff.
The 77-year-old woman takes diligent care of the Belle Elementary school and can be seen there every day with a broad smile on her face.
However, after the staff learned that her childhood was not typical of what children have nowadays, they made the decision to plan something out of the ordinary for her.
Due to the fact that Frances’ family was poor, they could never afford to celebrate her birthday or Christmas with gifts or parties.
The staff made the decision to do something different and more meaningful, and so they decided to throw a birthday celebration in her honor.
They invited Frances into the room after the cafeteria had been transformed with birthday goodies and after 200 staff and students had gathered to celebrate her birthday.

“Could Rendell and Ms. Frances please go to the cafeteria?” was asked via the speaker.
Frances thought she was being called to do something, but she couldn’t believe what she saw when she opened the doors.
In addition to clapping and wishing her well, the students gave her gifts as they rejoiced in the hall. Additionally, the school had produced a short video called “Frances,” in which her face appeared in various famous events that Frances had experienced throughout her life.
She was treated like a queen and even had her own sash and tiara.
Frances said that the only presents she had ever gotten as a child were baskets of fruit and nuts whenever her family had the financial means to do so.
Oh, it’s going to be a huge celebration. Frances was very happy and said, “Thank you, no one has ever done this for me before.”
