U.S. Military Takes Action Against Tren de Aragua in Caribbean Waters

On September 2, 2025, President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. military carried out an operation in international waters of the southern Caribbean involving a vessel linked to the Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua, which is designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Reports indicate 11 individuals were on board, and no U.S. personnel were affected.
