Inside ‘The Newlywed Game’ star Bob Eubanks’ marriage to 29-year-younger wife

For generations, Bob Eubanks was the familiar face behind The Newlywed Game, famous for his quick wit and hilarious questions that left newly married couples blushing. But long before television fame, Eubanks had already lived an extraordinary life. He worked in radio, promoted some of music’s biggest stars, and even helped bring The Beatles to the Hollywood Bowl in the 1960s. 🎤🎶

Away from the cameras, Eubanks built a family with his first wife, Irma Barnard. They married in 1969, raised three children, and shared life on a working cattle ranch where they enjoyed riding, roping, and rodeo activities. Sadly, Irma passed away in 2002 after a prolonged illness. Two years later, Bob found love again with Deborah James, who is 29 years younger than him. ❤️

Their relationship didn’t happen overnight. The two first met while helping with a charity event and neither was initially looking for anything serious. They dated for years, worked through challenges, and even attended therapy individually and as a couple. In 2004, they finally married in an intimate Palm Springs ceremony surrounded by about 30 close friends and family members. 🥰💍

Today, their story is a reminder that love doesn’t always follow a predictable timeline. Despite their nearly three-decade age difference, Bob and Deborah built a lasting partnership filled with laughter, support, and companionship. From hosting one of television’s most iconic game shows to finding love again later in life, Bob Eubanks’ story proves that sometimes the most unexpected chapter can become one of the most meaningful. ❤️✨
