JOHN LENNON’S FAMILY JUST WELCOMED A NEW GENERATION — AND HIS NAME IS UNFORGETTABLE! 👶✨ Nearly two decades after Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl first met, the couple has welcomed their first child, giving John Lennon his first grandchild. And the baby’s name carries nearly 2,000 years of history. 😮
Sean, the only child of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, has spoken openly about growing up with memories of his father mostly through photographs and recordings. Music became one of the ways he felt connected to John after his tragic death in 1980. Over the years, Sean built his own career as a musician and producer, while also collaborating with his mother.
Now, Sean and Charlotte have created something far more personal. They announced the arrival of their son with a playful message, joking that they had “created a Human Bean” — before revealing his name: AURELIUS! ❤️ Charlotte added her own humorous post about the surreal experience of becoming parents, even mentioning the music she has been playing for their newborn.
So, what makes the name so unusual? Aurelius comes from Latin and is generally associated with “golden” or “gilded.” It also recalls Marcus Aurelius, the famous Roman emperor and philosopher who ruled from 161 to 180 AD. 🏛️✨ The family hasn’t revealed exactly why they chose it, but little Aurelius already has a name with an extraordinary history. Congratulations to the new parents! 👶❤️ Leave your best wishes for Sean, Charlotte, and baby Aurelius below! 👇
