Kelly Osbourne fires back at trolls after skinny BRIT awards look sparks concern

Kelly Osbourne is speaking out after her noticeably slimmer appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards sparked widespread discussion online. The 41-year-old attended the event with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, to accept a lifetime achievement award honoring her late father, Ozzy Osbourne. While many fans praised her strength, others expressed concern about her weight, fueling debate across social media.

In response, Kelly condemned the harsh comments, calling the criticism “cruel” and “dehumanizing.” She explained that she is still grieving the loss of her father and is going through one of the hardest periods of her life. Kelly said people should show more compassion instead of turning someone’s personal struggles into online gossip or judgment.

Although some social media users insisted their comments came from genuine concern rather than body shaming, Kelly believes many crossed the line. She has repeatedly denied using weight-loss medications and has said her recent weight loss is largely connected to grief, stress, and the emotional toll of losing her father in 2025.

Sharon Osbourne has also defended her daughter, saying Kelly is still coping with an unimaginable loss and deserves support rather than criticism. Kelly hopes people will remember that appearances rarely tell the full story, urging others to choose kindness because everyone may be fighting battles that are not visible.
