Gabe Poirot says he met Jesus during an 18-day coma after suffering severe head injuries in a 2021 skateboarding accident. At age 20, he was reportedly traveling around 30 mph when he hit an object and was thrown onto the pavement. He was not wearing a helmet and remained unconscious for 18 days, later describing what he believes he experienced during that time.

According to Gabe, he encountered Jesus and received a personal message: “Gabriel, why are you concerned about that which has been paid for?” He has described the experience on several Christian podcasts, saying he felt as though he was being drawn toward a place filled with light, love and glory, where Jesus was waiting for him.
Gabe has also shared his description of Jesus, saying he appeared to be around 5’11” to 6 feet tall, with darker, Middle Eastern-looking skin, medium-length slightly curly hair and an appearance he associated with being both 33 and eternal. He has emphasized that no traditional painting can fully capture what he says he saw.
He also recalls repeatedly hearing the phrase “worthy is the Lamb,” which is found in the Book of Revelation. Gabe says he perceived the words in nature, including through the movement of trees, wind and water. His account is a deeply personal description of a near-death experience, and the details remain his own claims rather than something that can be independently verified.
