McMillan shared that he used a humidity-resistant blow-dry spray, volumizing mousse, a round brush, and a flat iron to achieve soft waves and movement. He finished the style with hairspray for lasting hold and a styling balm to create a relaxed, lived-in texture. According to him, the secret to the hairstyle was its blunt cut, side part, and natural-looking volume.

Hargitay had recently been seen with Swift while cheering on the New York Knicks during the 2026 NBA Finals, making her appearance at the wedding even less surprising. The actress’ updated hairstyle quickly caught attention online, with many fans praising the timeless yet modern look.
