Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi adopt second child

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have welcomed their second child through adoption, expanding their family to four. The Stranger Things star, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, shared the news on September 17 with a sweet photo showing their family gathered around their newborn son’s tiny hand. “Hi little guy!” Brown wrote. The announcement came after fans noticed a possible clue during the couple’s recent vacation in Italy, where Brown carried their daughter while Bongiovi appeared to be carrying a baby in a chest carrier. 👀

The couple first became parents in August 2025, when they announced they had adopted a baby girl. They chose to keep her name and face private, explaining that they wanted to give her the freedom to decide for herself someday whether she wanted a public life. Brown has also spoken openly about how adoption was part of her dreams long before she became famous. During a 2026 interview, she recalled that all her childhood dolls were adopted and said, “Adoption is love, adoption is forever.” ❤️

Brown has emphasized that adoption does not mean she has ruled out having a biological child in the future. She has said she hopes to experience pregnancy someday, while also viewing adoption as an equally meaningful path to parenthood. She and Bongiovi have also talked about wanting a big family, influenced partly by growing up in families with four children themselves. After becoming a mother, Brown described the experience as an amazing journey and praised her husband for sharing parenting responsibilities equally. ✨

Their announcement also sparked plenty of debate online, with some people questioning their young age and others criticizing their decision to adopt. But Brown has consistently described motherhood as something she genuinely dreamed about from childhood. Now, at just 22, she is raising two adopted children with Bongiovi, while continuing to protect their privacy from the public spotlight. Whatever opinions strangers may have, Brown has made her own feelings clear: building a family through adoption was not an unexpected detour—it was part of the future she always imagined.
