Rosie O’Donnell delivers two-word roast of Trump after president threatened to revoke her citizenship

Rosie O’Donnell has reignited her long-running feud with Donald Trump after the president threatened to revoke her U.S. citizenship. Trump said he was giving “serious consideration” to taking away O’Donnell’s citizenship and criticized her decision to live in Ireland, where she is pursuing citizenship through her family heritage.

O’Donnell responded sharply, accusing Trump of being threatened by outspoken critics and describing herself as a woman who refuses to stay silent. She also referenced the president’s past controversies while defending her decision to build a life in Ireland. Her response quickly attracted attention online, adding another chapter to the public feud that began nearly two decades ago.

The dispute comes as O’Donnell has returned to late-night television, temporarily hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! while Kimmel is on summer break. During her opening monologue, she joked about her move to Ireland and took several direct shots at Trump, even looking into the camera and telling the White House, “Hi! I know you’re watching!” She also defended Kimmel amid Trump’s criticism of late-night television.

The feud between O’Donnell and Trump dates back to 2006, when she criticized him during her time on The View. Trump responded with harsh personal attacks, and their exchanges continued during the 2016 presidential campaign. Nearly 20 years later, the two are still trading insults publicly. What do you think of Rosie O’Donnell’s response to Trump? 👀 Was it a clever comeback, or did she take things too far?
