She’s 82 and still turning heads! This star has lit up screens and hearts for years.

Linda Evans became one of television’s biggest stars thanks to her unforgettable role as Krystle Carrington in Dynasty, but her journey to fame began long before the hit series. Born in Connecticut in 1942, she moved to North Hollywood as an infant and discovered acting after a classmate encouraged her to audition. Her breakthrough came in the 1960s on The Big Valley, and by the 1980s, her elegance and talent had made her one of TV’s most beloved actresses, earning awards and millions of devoted fans.

Despite her glamorous career, Evans faced painful personal challenges. Her marriage to actor John Derek ended in a highly publicized split, and a second marriage also ended in divorce. After Dynasty concluded, she stepped away from Hollywood, choosing a quieter life focused on family, wellness, and personal growth. She later surprised fans by winning the UK version of Hell’s Kitchen, proving her determination extended far beyond acting.

Evans also endured years of heartbreak and health struggles. Cancer affected several members of her family, including her parents and sisters, and she later mourned the loss of one of her sisters. She also battled severe back pain caused by a slipped disc, describing it as one of the darkest periods of her life. Following multiple surgeries and treatment, she eventually recovered and found relief after years of suffering.

Now 82, Linda Evans lives a peaceful life away from the Hollywood spotlight. She has embraced a simpler lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by nature and far from the pressures of fame. Though she rarely appears on screen today, fans continue to admire her grace, resilience, and lasting legacy as one of television’s most unforgettable stars.
