Born in Los Angeles in 1933 to actor Robert Montgomery and Broadway actress Elizabeth Allen, Montgomery followed her parents into acting. After divorces from Frederick Gallatin Cammann, Gig Young, and producer William Asher—father of her three children—she married actor Robert Foxworth in 1993 after years together.
